These terms cover your use of the Hudson app. Hudson is made by Apparent Solutions, LLC ("we," "us"). By using Hudson, you agree to them.
The app
Hudson is a personal iPhone app that helps you remember details about the people you care about. It's a one-time paid purchase through the Apple App Store — no subscription and no in-app purchases. Your purchase is handled by Apple under Apple's terms, including any refunds.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Hudson on your iPhone for your own personal use. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the app's source beyond what the law allows.
Your content
Everything you put into Hudson is yours and stays on your device and your own iCloud. We don't access, store, or claim any rights to it. You're responsible for the information you choose to record.
Acceptable use
Use Hudson lawfully and respectfully. Don't use it to store unlawful content or to harass, surveil, or harm anyone.
No warranty
Hudson is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it isn't a substitute for your own judgment in your relationships. Keep your own backups; while Hudson supports iCloud, we can't guarantee against data loss.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apparent Solutions, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Hudson. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date above and post the new version here; continued use means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
