"Talk to Hudson" isn't available

The voice feature and the on-device "ask about your partner" feature need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, running iOS 26 or later. On devices without it, everything else in Hudson still works — you just add things by typing.

Does my data sync between devices?

Yes, through your own iCloud. Make sure you're signed into iCloud and that iCloud Drive is on for Hudson. Sync happens within your personal Apple account — Hudson has no server, so there's no separate login. Give a new device a minute on Wi-Fi to pull everything down.

I got a new phone / reinstalled the app

As long as you're signed into the same iCloud account, your data comes back automatically once iCloud finishes syncing.

Restoring your purchase

Hudson is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID. If you reinstall on a device using the same Apple ID, the App Store won't charge you again — just download it from your purchase history.

Deleting your data

Open Hudson's settings and use the option to erase everything; it removes your data from the device and your iCloud. Deleting the app also clears its on-device data.
